Special Collections
Books and Rare Books
Special Collections has more than 2,000 reference books on genealogy, Baptists, and state and local history. The department also has a rare book collection of approximately 800 volumes. An example of the rich local history sources found among the holdings is Through the Eyes of Farrar Newberry, which documents the history of Clark County. It may be used for research purposes in Special Collections. It may be purchased from the Clark County Historical Association.
Access is through the library's online catalog, but these books, like other Special Collections materials, do not circulate.
